Bitmapped Images

More info

Bitmap images are stored as a grid of pixels. Image size in pixels is width x height, while resolution is measured in dots (pixels) per inch (dpi). Colour depth is the number of bits used to store each pixel.

Recreate a gallery image by entering denary values (0-255) into each byte field. In 1-bit mode each byte controls 8 pixels, and in 2-bit mode each byte controls 4 double-width pixels. Three bytes fill one row of 24 pixels. Or make your own image using this worksheet to help you.
